Arthur Musheghyan, counselor of Armenian embassy in Austria dies

The Armenian foreign ministry reported today with deep sorrow the death of Arthur Musheghyan, an advisor  to the Armenian embassy in Austria, saying he died on June 8 at the age of 53.

YEREVAN, June 10. / ARKA /. The Armenian foreign ministry reported today with deep sorrow the death of Arthur Musheghyan, an advisor  to the Armenian embassy in Austria, saying he died on June 8 at the age of 53.

Musheghyan was born in 1960. In 1982 he graduated from the Yerevan Institute of Foreign Languages after Bryusov, in 1996 from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. He began his career in 1996 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, where he held a variety of positions both at headquarters and in the Armenian missions abroad, as well as  in OSCE field missions. 

From 1996 to 1997 he worked with the OSCE Office in Tajikistan, in 1997-2002 with   the OSCE missions in Croatia and Estonia. In 2004-2007 he worked as a counselor of the Embassy of Armenia in Bulgaria and since 2011 as an adviser to the Armenian Embassy in Austria. Musheghyan was married, had two daughters and one son. -0-
