YEREVAN, November 22. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani army units in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) opened fire today at farmers who were working on their land plots, the Artsakh Interior Ministry said.

The shelling was reported at 14:30 by the head of Sarushen community of Askeran district to Martuni regional police.

The Azerbaijani armed forces were said to have fired randomly from different kinds of arms making the farmers stop their work.

The Ministry reminded that the day before - on November 21 - at about 11:00 the enemy opened fire on civilians working in Amaras valley near Machkalashen village, thus violating the ceasefire. The civilians suffered no casualties.

The Martuni district Police collected the ceasefire breach facts and handed them over to the Russian peacekeeping forces. -0-
