FM Nalbandyan to head Armenian delegation at Rio+20 summit

YEREVAN, June 19. /ARKA/. Armenian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan will attend international conference on sustainable development Rio+20 held in Brazil, Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports ARKA on Tuesday.

“Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia is expected to make a speech during the summit,” the source says.

Brazil will host the conference on June 20-22. Twenty years later after the officials of different states last time met in Rio de Janeiro to discuss ecological issues, they will meet again to expand upon challenges of green economy, sustainable development and poverty elimination. -0-
