Foreign minister: Slovakia ready to share its experience with Armenia

Slovakia is ready to share its experience with Armenia to help the latter fulfill its commitments toward the European Union, Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak said today in Yerevan at a joint briefing with Acting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan.

YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. Slovakia is ready to share its experience with Armenia to help the latter fulfill its commitments toward the European Union, Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak said today in Yerevan at a joint briefing with Acting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan. 

The Slovak foreign minister said that his country supports the implementation of the Eastern Partnership Program. 
He said that the European Union’s summit that will be held in November in Vilnius is expected to be successful and added that Armenia is a part of this success.    

Lajcak also congratulated Armenia on successful advance in negotiations over the association agreement and creating a free trade regime with the European Union. 

Speaking about Armenian-Slovak relations, he stressed that there are no problems between Yerevan and Bratislava.  

His Armenian counterpart, on his side, said that this is already Lajcak’s fourth visit to Armenia and rated highly this visit. 

“Relations between our countries are highly-developed, and we have considerable ground for cooperation,” he said. “Today we exchanged views on a wide range of issues and discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues.” -0-
