\YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC saved over 4.5 billion drams on procurement for the 2026 investment program, ENA Acting Governor Romanos Petrosyan announced on Facebook.
According to him, the total budget for ENA's investment program, approved by the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), is approximately 46.7 billion drams excluding VAT. Approximately 75-80% of this amount is for electrical equipment and various materials required for the work.
Petrosyan noted that tender results for contract construction work are currently being actively summarized and contracts are being signed. The main work, he said, will begin in the coming days.
"Equipment and materials procurement is conducted through an open, transparent, and competitive process. 35-40% of the purchases have already been completed, and large-scale deliveries are ongoing," he noted.
According to Petrosyan, inventory worth over 12.2 billion drams has been purchased so far, while the ENA procurement plan for 2026 had allocated approximately 16.7 billion drams for these purposes.
"Therefore, through competitive and inclusive procurement, ENA has saved over 4.5 billion drams in the 2026 investment program alone, which will be fully used for modernizing the distribution network infrastructure," Petrosyan noted.
