Former Yerevan mayor appointed as new minister of energy and natural resources

Former Yerevan mayor Yervand Zakharian was appointed today as minister of energy and natural resources of Armenia.

YEREVAN, April 30. / ARKA /. Former Yerevan mayor Yervand Zakharian was appointed today as minister of energy and natural resources of Armenia.  

A corresponding decree was signed by President Serzh Sargsyan, his press service reported.  

Yervand Zakahryan, who served as head of the State Cadastre Committee, replaces Amen Movsisyan. Yervand Zakarian was the mayor of Yerevan from 2003 to 2009. 

Before that he served for almost three years as head of the state revenue ministry. -0-
