Italian Senate ratifies CEPA between Armenia and European Union

By a vote of 242 to 2 abstentions the Italian Senate ratified today the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Armenia and the European Union, the Armenian Embassy in Italy said in a Facebook post.

YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. By a vote of 242 to 2 abstentions the Italian Senate ratified today the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Armenia and the European Union, the Armenian Embassy in Italy said in a Facebook post.
"We hope that the Agreement will also be ratified soon by the Italian Chamber of Deputies," the embassy said.
Earlier, CEPA was ratified by the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Malta, Romania, the United Kingdom, Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Sweden and Cyprus.
The Armenia-EU Comprehensive & Enhanced Partnership Agreement was signed on November 24, 2017 and ratified by the Armenian parliament on April 11, 2018. Armenia has become the first Eurasian Economic Union member country to sign such an agreement with the European Union. -0---. -0-
