The ruling Republican Party of Armenia has not discussed composition of the new government at its meeting Thursday, vice-speaker of Armenian parliament and member of the party executive council Eduard Sharmazanov said, as quoted by Novosti-Armenia.

YEREVAN, May 3. /ARKA/. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia has not discussed composition of the new government at its meeting Thursday, vice-speaker of Armenian parliament and member of the party executive council Eduard Sharmazanov said, as quoted by Novosti-Armenia.

“We will discuss this issue as required by the procedure, and will inform about the dates”, Sharmazanov said.

The vice speaker informed that the meeting touched upon inter-party matters mainly related to the city council elections.

On April 20 Armenian president re-appointed Seyran Ohanyan and Edward Nalbandyan as minister of defence and foreign minister respectively. The day before Tirgan Sargsyan was reappointed to premier’s post.

Under the constitutional provision, the new cabinet is to be formed within 20 days after the appointment of the premier.–0—
