Official visit of Iranian FM to Armenia underway
YEREVAN, October 20. /ARKA/. The official visit by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian to Armenia has started, spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan said.
"A one-on-one meeting between the foreign ministers of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran is taking place, which will be followed by a meeting in an expanded format," he wrote on his Facebook page.
The Iranian Foreign Minister will also hold meetings with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and National Assembly Speaker Alain Simonyan.
On October 21, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Hossein Amir Abdollahian will travel to Kapan, the administrative capital of Syunik province, bordering Iran, to participate in the official opening of Iranian consulate there. -0-
