Pashinyan, Putin discuss Azerbaijan visit, agree on future meeting
YEREVAN, August 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation, according to a statement from the Armenian government's press service.
During the call, President Putin informed Prime Minister Pashinyan about his impressions from his recent visit to Azerbaijan, for which Pashinyan expressed his gratitude.
The two leaders agreed to meet at a convenient time in the future to discuss issues on the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Russia.
President Putin had previously mentioned in his conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during his state visit to Azerbaijan on August 18-19, that he would share the results of his discussions with the Azerbaijani leader with Prime Minister Pashinyan.
In his private talks with Aliyev, Putin stated that Moscow is ready to assist in resolving issues between Baku and Yerevan, in areas where both sides find it necessary.
