YEREVAN, April 24. /ARKA/. In his message on the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan pointed out the importance of Armenia's delimited borders and its good relations with its neighbors.

"Today, we honor the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, who fell victim to the massacres and mass deportations that continued since 1915. These events, which took place in the last period of the Ottoman Empire, left a deep mark on the soul and consciousness of every Armenian. For many citizens of Armenia, the Genocide is not only a national, but also a family and personal tragedy," the Armenian Prime Minister said in his message.

As Pashinyan noted, experiencing this tragedy has been a key issue on our national agenda for over a century, regardless of how it was formulated in the past.

"The government's and my personal thoughts and considerations on this agenda boil down to the following: a developed, sovereign, secure Republic of Armenia with delimited and demarcated borders is a means to survive the tragedy of the Great Genocide, a guarantee of our loyalty to all the victims of our people," he thinks.

According to Pashinyan, the state and state interests, the Republic of Armenia with an internationally recognized territory, regulated relations with neighbors, open borders, peace, labor, prosperity, a free and protected citizen - this is what, who and how should preserve the memory of the victims of the Genocide, this is how we should survive the tragedy of the Genocide.

"Dear people, dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia! We are following this path because this is how we decipher the message that history sends us, this is how we decipher the heartbeat of each of you, each citizen of Armenia, which is not broadcast on any TV, is not expressed in any social network, but is heard by the ruling majority formed in the Republic of Armenia by your votes, and is heard by me personally," the message says.

According to the Prime Minister, following this path is not a matter of optimism or pessimism, but "a mission to ensure the inviolability of the Republic of Armenia, our Motherland-state, and we have earned this opportunity, having gone through severe trials and tragedies, and this opportunity cannot be missed."

"And I am convinced that we - the people and the ruling team elected by them, will not miss this opportunity for the sake of our martyrs and for the sake of our generations. Glory to the martyrs and long live the Republic of Armenia," the message says.
