The head of the Prosperous Armenia party Naira Zohrabyan declined a proposal to become a government minister, a local daily "Irates de facto» says. "I have no desire to become a minister for a year", it quotes Ms. Zohrabyan as saying.

Rumors that Zohrabyan would be offered a position in the government have been circulating for a long time, the newspaper says.
Prosperous Armenia, a moderate centrist political force with liberal bias, was founded in 2004 by a wealthy businessman Gagik Tsarukyan. In the current parliament, the party has the second largest faction. In 2015, Tsarukyan resigned as head of the party proposing that it be given to Naira Zohrabyan -0-
