YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. Azerbaijan is going to host the UN climate summit COP29 (in November), while it is destroying Armenia’s environment, said the head of the ‘’Tatoyan’’ ‘Law and Justice Center Foundation’, former Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan.

“These facts need to be presented as widely as possible on global platforms and show the real intentions of Azerbaijan,” Tatoyan wrote on his Facebook page.

He spoke about the situation in the village of Nerqin Hand in the Kapan community in southern Armenia, which is surrounded on three sides by 25 illegal Azerbaijani military positions, noting that in this area 2,700 hectares of Armenian territory have been occupied.

“We have collected evidence and recorded additional facts of Azerbaijani crimes against the residents of Nerqin Hand – more than 10 thousand cut down trees in the Shikahokh state reserve and military roads being built for tens of kilometers, numerous mines placed (both at two Azerbaijani positions), deprivation of residents of access to drinking water, the presence of armed posts in close proximity to civilian homes and other facts,” Tatoyan said. -0-
