YEREVAN, November 27. / ARKA /. The City Council of Highland in California, USA, has adopted a proclamation on establishing Sister City Relationships with Berdzor, a town in Kashatagh region of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), NKR foreign ministry reported.

It said the Highland City Council had adopted earlier another proclamation recognizing the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and urging the President and Congress of the United States to support the self-determination and democratic independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and its constructive involvement in the international community’s efforts to reach a just and lasting solution to security issues in that strategically important region. -0-
