All highways and roads in Armenia, except for Selim mountain pass, are open for traffic, despite the continuing snowfall and poor visibility, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Armenia.

YEREVAN, February 1. /ARKA/. All highways and roads in Armenia, except for Selim mountain pass, are open for traffic, despite the continuing snowfall and poor visibility, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Armenia.
It said to ensure safe traffic on all roads intensive round the clock snow cleaning work is underway. Roads are also processed with salt and sand to accelerate snow melting.
"The ministry of transport and communications urges drivers to use winter tires," the press release says.
The ministry of emergency said some sections on Aragats-Aparan and Landzhik-Maralik roads are also difficult to pass. -0-
