Armenia’s health ministry has requested the government of China to provide it with another 200 ambulances, the acting health minister Armen Muradyan said at a government meeting today.

YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s health ministry has requested the government of China to provide it with another 200 ambulances, the acting health minister Armen Muradyan said at a government meeting today.

He said the ministry had received 88 ambulances from the government of China as a donation in 2011. According to him, these ambulances have been used extensively over the five years and have become outdated.

The minister said the delivery of 200 ambulances will not affect the budget as the purchase will be funded by a Chinese government grant.

He added that as part of a five-year development strategy the ministry plans also a technical re-equipment and personnel training.-0-
