YEREVAN, May 1. /ARKA/. Wildberries (IMVBAM LLC) has issued an explanation regarding the situation "caused by the application of additional control procedures in the Russian Federation for certain categories of goods during customs clearance."

According to media and social media reports published today, sales of Armenian products on Wildberries have been suspended without explanation.

"The company is in constant dialogue with partners and relevant authorities and is closely monitoring the situation. As part of this effort, a meeting was organized with Armenian sellers, attended by over 50 entrepreneurs. Company representatives discussed emerging issues with partners, listened to feedback, and continue to jointly develop possible solutions," the Wildberries Armenia press service said in a statement. It was also noted that customs clearance regulations in the Russian Federation changed on April 20, and to comply with the new requirements, sellers were required to provide additional documents as part of the updated procedures.

"At the same time, goods already in warehouses in the Russian Federation continue to be sold as usual, and sellers retain the opportunity to operate in the domestic Armenian market," the statement reads.

The company assured that all issues are being discussed in the established manner with the participation of the relevant parties.

"The company hopes for a gradual resolution of the situation and will inform about any significant changes as they arise," Wildberries stated.
