Armenia's confirmed coronavirus cases have risen to 1291, according to a statement on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
YEREVAN, April 19. /ARKA/. Armenia's confirmed coronavirus cases have risen to 1291, according to a statement on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
It said an increase of 43 cases was recorded in the last 24 hours. According to the center, a total of 12,680 coronavirus tests were performed, 545 people recovered and 20 patients died. The number of patients undergoing treatment is 726.
Armenia declared a 30-day state of emergency on March 16 to contain the spread of the disease and imposed stringent restrictions on free movement of people banning also some types of economic activity. On April 13, the government extended the state of emergency for another month, allowing simultaneously some businesses to reopen. -0-
