Armenia to deal with the issue of employment and housing of Artsakh refugees

YEREVAN, 2 October. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan touched upon the issue of meeting the needs of Artsakh r/Тфпщктщ-Лфкфифлр% efugees forcibly displaced by the Azerbaijani aggression in September 2023 at the Warsaw Security Forum.

Speaking at a panel discussion within the forum, Mirzoyan praised the assistance of the international community a year ago during the reception of Artsakh refugees and meeting their primary needs.

‘Now, in the next stage, we have to think about short-term and long-term plans to meet these needs. There is a problem of providing them with housing, jobs and huge efforts should be made in this regard,’ Mirzoyan said.

The Minister stated that Armenia's policy is that if there are no means or opportunities for the Artsakh residents to return to their homes, Armenia should make every effort to ensure the integration of these people into the society of the Republic of Armenia - help them find housing, jobs and stay in Armenia. -0-
