Armenian defense ministry announces three-month training camp for privates, warrant and reserve officers

YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. A three-month training camp for privates, warrant officers and reserve officers will be held in Armenia from August 25 to November 25, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
It said the purpose of the training camp is to retrain and improve the combat skills of reservists. The ministry said if necessary, the reservists will be involved in combat duty.
During this period, the reservists will be considered military personnel and will be entitled to all types of allowances and social benefits established for military personnel. Their civilian jobs will be retained, and they will be paid for each month at the staffing rate for the assigned military post, depending on military rank and other factors.
Participation in the training camp will be included in the length of service or military service of the citizen. Evasion of the training camp is punishable by law. -0-
