Armenian premier tours hail-stricken communities

Hovik Abrahamyan, Armenian prime minister, traveled to Shirak and Aragatsotn provinces on Wednesday and visited Artik, where the recent flood damaged houses, to see what has been done here after his previous visit, the press office of the government reports.

YEREVAN, July 14. /ARKA/. Hovik Abrahamyan, Armenian prime minister, traveled to Shirak and Aragatsotn provinces on Wednesday and visited Artik, where the recent flood damaged houses, to see what has been done here after his previous visit, the press office of the government reports.
Local residents thanked the premier for his care and voiced satisfaction at the efforts made to remove consequences of the natural disaster.
Necessary financial resources have been allocated to the flood-stricken area to put things right.
Abrahamyan told journalists that plenty has already been done. He said that the government has allocated AMD 41 million. The municipality and other agencies earmarked some money for as well for using machinery and carrying our recovery.
In Aragatsotn province, the prime minister visited hail-stricken Ohanavan community. He instructed appropriate agencies to gauge the damage inflicted by hail and wind as soon as possible and to think what support can be provided to these rural communities. --0---
