Armenian president is back home from London after being treated for Covid-19

President Armen Sarkissian returned to Armenia at the end of last week, his press office reported.

YEREVAN, February 15. /ARKA/ President Armen Sarkissian returned to Armenia at the end of last week, his press office reported.
According to official reports, Sarkissian had tested positive for the coronavirus on January 5 while in London, UK, for a foot surgery, and a week later he had been taken to hospital with high temperature and bilateral pneumonia for treatment .
Sarkissian served for many years as Armenian ambassador to UK. He was elected president by parliament in April 2018.
Sarkissian's press office said he will continue the treatment in Yerevan. -0-
