Armenian State Oversight Service recovers 827 million drams of misused funds

The head of Armenia’s State Oversight Service David Sanasaryan told reporters after a Cabinet session today that so far his agency has recovered 827 million drams of misused funds. He said this amount was transferred to the government budget.
YEREVAN, February 15. /ARKA/. The head of Armenia’s State Oversight Service David Sanasaryan told reporters after a Cabinet session today that so far his agency has recovered 827 million drams of misused funds. He said this amount was transferred to the government budget.
"This is a normal result for the Service. I can say that recovering of misused funds is not part of our functions. We initially created a false impression. Our functions do not include the recovery of misused funds, this is to be done by law enforcement agencies," Sanasaryan said
He said at present efforts will be aimed at preventing negative phenomena and improving the state system. ($1 - 487.99 drams). - 0-
