YEREVAN, June 12. /ARKA/. The bus-only lane was launched on June 11 on Gay Avenue in Yerevan.

According to the Yerevan Municipality, from now on buses will drive only in the dedicated lane, gaining advantage over other traffic participants. It will enable them to avoid traffic jams during rush hours.

Traffic will be monitored by surveillance cameras, and drivers who violate the traffic rules will be held administratively liable.

Work is currently underway to launch another bus lane on on Garegin Nzhdeh Street
