Employment, social services and problems of disabled people will be the Armenian labor and social affairs ministry's top-priority focuses in 2014, Labor and Social Minister Artem Asatryan told journalists on Thursday after the Cabinet's regular session.
YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. Employment, social services and problems of disabled people will be the Armenian labor and social affairs ministry's top-priority focuses in 2014, Labor and Social Minister Artem Asatryan told journalists on Thursday after the Cabinet's regular session.
In his words, the ministry's first task will be to introduce a new employment model. He said that the law adopted in 2013 implies more than ten employment programs.
The second high-priority task is to continue introduction of the integrated system of social services, particularly expansion of so-called one-window service for people.
The third direction is introduction of a disability degree definition model based on the international classification.
The minister said this model will lessen subjective approaches. «It implies development of new criteria, which will make it possible to identify various needs of people and apply differentiated social assistance programs in conformity with them,» he said.
Asatryan said the program will be implemented stage by stage. -0----
