HayPost participates in World Stamp Show - NY 2016

Armenia’s national postal operator HayPost is one of 50 national postal operators participating in World Stamp Show -NY 2016, a major once-a-decade eight -day international philatelic exhibition, taking place from May 28 through June 4 in New York, USA.
YEREVAN, May 31. / ARKA /. Armenia’s national postal operator HayPost is one of 50 national postal operators participating in World Stamp Show -NY 2016, a major once-a-decade eight -day international philatelic exhibition, taking place from May 28 through June 4 in New York, USA.
The event has brought to New York also more than 120 philatelic associations and organizations from all over the world. HayPost is participating in such a major exhibition for the first time presenting Armenian philately in a strategically situated boot, thus bringing recognition to Armenia and Armenian philately. At the event HayPost presented Armenian stamp issuances from 2013 -2016.
In the framework of the event HayPost also canceled and put into circulation two souvenir sheets dedicated to “World Stamp Show 2016” and “Rio 2016” Olympic Games. The souvenir sheets were cancelled by Armenia’s representative to UN Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and CEO of HayPost Trust Management Pablo Gechidjian.
Continuing the innovative philatelic tradition HayPost CJSC prepared a surprise for the philatelic society- perforation of the new souvenir sheet made in the form of an apple (New York is also commonly known as the Big Apple).
HayPost is also taking part in a philatelic competition organized in the framework of the World Stamp Show – NY 2016. -0-
