Less than 12% of Yerevan residents approve of new public transport prices, according to the findings of a survey conducted by the Armenian office of Gallup International Association.

YEREVAN, 22 January. /ARKA/. Less than 12% of Yerevan residents approve of new public transport prices, according to the findings of a survey conducted by the Armenian office of Gallup International Association.
According to the survey, 68.7 per cent of respondents expressed ‘completely negative’ and 15.2 per cent ‘rather negative’ attitude towards the move,’ said Aram Navasardyan, head of Gallup Armenian office.
He added that 11.4 per cent of the survey participants had a ‘rather positive’ attitude to the new prices, while 2 per cent were ‘completely positive’.
A total of 643 respondents took part in the telephone survey conducted in Armenia on 9-14 January. -0-
