David Hambardzumyan, mayor of Masis, was released from detention on bail – AMD 5 million ($10,300 was paid for his release), Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) reported Tuesday referring to his lawyer Tigran Atanesyan.

YEREVAN, September 18. /ARKA/. David Hambardzumyan, mayor of Masis, was released from detention on bail – AMD 5 million ($10,300 was paid for his release), Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) reported Tuesday referring to his lawyer Tigran Atanesyan.
According to the media source, Hambardzumyan is charged with organization of violent unrest and hooliganism. He has spent several months in detention.
Investigators have presented enough evidence proving also his personal participation in hooliganism with using guns and his brother Gor Hambardzumyan’s participation in violent actions. -0----
