As of June 12, the number of laboratory-confirmed cases of measles stood at 225, the Public Television of Armenia reported citing the Ministry of Health.

YEREVAN, May 12. /ARKA/. As of June 12, the number of laboratory-confirmed cases of measles stood at 225, the Public Television of Armenia reported citing the Ministry of Health.

It said 9 people have been hospitalized and 119 have been discharged. Among those infected 156 were children and 69 were adults.

According to the national vaccination scheme, vaccination against measles is provided for children aged 1 year and 4-6 years. -0-
