The Armenian health ministry reported Monday morning a new COVID-19 death. “The patient was 80 years old, and he had concomitant chronic diseases,” the report says.

YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. The Armenian health ministry reported Monday morning a new COVID-19 death. “The patient was 80 years old, and he had concomitant chronic diseases,” the report says.

The ministry also said that 62 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed over the day in the country, and 15 people recovered.

A state of emergency in order to suppress the spread of the coronavirus operates in Armenia from March 16 to April 14. Restrictions on free movement and certain types of economic activity in Armenia in a state of emergency (previously imposed for the period from March 24 to March 31) were extended until April 12 inclusive.

On April 13, the government extended the state of emergency for another month - until 17:00 on May 14, 2020 inclusive, expanding the list of business areas that are allowed to work again.

As of 11:00 on Monday, April 27, there were 1,808 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 848 recovered patients and 29 deaths in Armenia. -0---
