The ninth international film festival for children and youth will be held in Yerevan on November 1-5, the press secretary of the festival Karine Grigoryan told Novosti-Armenia.

YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/. The ninth international film festival for children and youth will be held in Yerevan on November 1-5, the press secretary of the festival Karine Grigoryan told Novosti-Armenia.

Some 113 films from 34 countries will be presented at the festival, Grigoryan said. The films will be demonstrated in the regions as well, after the festival.

Little residents from Lori region, children from Giumry orphanage and members of Bridge of Hope non-governmental organization, as well as students of Tumo creative technology center are in the jury of the festival this year.

Three new nominations will be introduced this year, the press secretary said not revealing the details though.

Premieres, meetings with higher school students, master classed, round-table discussions, exhibitions ans some other events are expected to be held as part of the festival.

The festival is held by the Armenian branch of the child and youth film and TV development fund after Rolan Bikov, supported by the president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and ministry of culture.
