Sanitek promises to clean up main streets of Yerevan from snow in 48 hours

Sanitek, a Lebanese-owned company, chosen last year by the Yerevan municipality to manage waste removal in the Armenian capital city, promised today to clean up the main streets of Yerevan from snow in 48 hours after the end of snow, saying also the secondary streets will be cleaned in 72 hours.
YEREVAN, February 8. /ARKA. Sanitek, a Lebanese-owned company, chosen last year by the Yerevan municipality to manage waste removal in the Armenian capital city, promised today to clean up the main streets of Yerevan from snow in 48 hours after the end of snow, saying also the secondary streets will be cleaned in 72 hours.
In a press release issued today the company said 500 workers were working in all the 10 administrative districts of the capital, cleaning both the central and secondary roads and sidewalks from snow by operating more than 60 units of special equipment.
‘Given the fact that the snow has not stopped yet and the cleared the streets may be covered with a thin layer of snow Sanitek advises Yerevan residents to be careful on the roads and inform the company when detecting impassable sections by dialing the hot line number 8090," it said. -0-
