Traffic to be closed through Republic Square in Yerevan

Armenia’s Police said today they will close traffic through the Republic Square in downtown Yerevan in connection with the preparations for the celebration of Independence Day.

YEREVAN, September 14. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Police said today they will close traffic through the Republic Square in downtown Yerevan in connection with the preparations for the celebration of Independence Day.
According to a police statement, , the traffic on the main square of the Armenian capital city will be closed from 23:00 on September 14th to 6:00 on September 15, and from 23:00 on September 15 to 6:00 on September 16.
The police urged all the motorists to vacate the square two hours prior to the specified time, warning that otherwise the traffic police will be forced to transport their vehicles to a special territory.
Armenians will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Independence on September 21.-0-
