YEREVAN, February 17. /ARКА/. The Yerevan Municipality will complete the restoration of the Tsitsernakaberd Highway section that collapsed three years ago, in May 2025.

Acting Head of the Yerevan Municipality Urban Development and Land Control Department Samvel Ghukasyan said at a meeting at the City Hall on Monday that the restoration of the section is ongoing.

After hearing Ghukasyan’s report, Mayor Tigran Avinyan instructed to submit an updated progress report every two weeks.

The section of the road collapsed three years ago, and the authorities had to ban traffic in both directions. Traffic was partially restored in mid-June, and the restoration is still ongoing.
