The vote in the 2013 elections to Yerevan’s city council is scheduled for May 5.

YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. The vote in the 2013 elections to Yerevan’s city council is scheduled for May 5. 

The government will discuss the matter on February 14 at its regular meeting.  

Under the law, members of the council elect the city mayor – the mayor is chosen among the council factions’ nominees through voting. 

The mayor-in-office, Taron Margaryan, has been unanimously elected on November 15, 2011. -0-
