YEREVAN, January 4. /ARKA/. European Youth Boxing Championships will be held in Yerevan in April 2023, the Armenian Ministry of Science, Education, Culture and Sports reported.

It said boxing federations of Croatia and Macedonia also filed applications to host the tournament, but the European Boxing Confederation gave preference to Armenia.

In 2022 Yerevan hosted the Men's European Boxing Championship. The Armenian national boxing team won 4 medals. -0-
