“Information Technology Job Fair” is an important stage in the higher education development of Armenia, Armenian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ara Avetisyan reported Friday at the opening of the first job fair at the Yerevan State University.
YEREVAN, June 22. /ARKA/. “Information Technology Job Fair” is an important stage in the higher education development of Armenia, Armenian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ara Avetisyan reported Friday at the opening of the first job fair at the Yerevan State University.
“In a number of higher education-related reforms, carried out the by the ministry, it is time to make practical steps. This job fair will be a test for our universities, demonstrating how effectively reforms are carried out at the university level,” Avetisyan reported.
According to him, this event will give Armenia an opportunity to prove that the country can provide good expert in the IT sector, who are capable of saying a new word in the sector.
“I hope such events to take place more and more in Armenia, and I am sure that all of them will be successful and beneficial for our country,” Avetisyan concluded.
About 30 working Armenian IT companies and many university graduates participate in the first IT Job Fair at the Yerevan State University on Friday.
The event is organized by the YSU, American University of Armenia, Armenian State University of Engineering, Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University with the support of the CAPS/USAID program and the Union of Information Technologies Companies. R.O. –0--
