Automated system of management of financial monitoring center to be introduced in Armenia

YEREVAN, March 28. /ARKA/. All the wholesale Internet providers of Armenia are left without communication because of a breakdown in Georgia.

About a half an hour ago the country was cut off Internet communication.

The country’s three wholesale Internet providers – ArmenTel, FiberNet Communication and GNC-Alfa - say breakdowns occurred at two Georgian operators at once.

ArmenTel’s press office told ARKA News Agency that two Georgian channels providing Internet to Armenia have reported disorders.
“Georgian specialists are doing whatever necessary to put things right,” the company’s press office reported. “They promised the repair would last about two hours.”

Two other companies FiberNet Communication and GNC-Alfa provided a similar explanation to ARKA News Agency with a slight difference – terms promised by Georgians to their Armenian colleagues differ from each other.

They refrained from revealing causes of the breakdowns.Armenian operators are still providing Internet communication by using reserve channels. They are ready to readdress the full traffic to them, if the problem takes longer than expected.

Armenia has been repeatedly cut off Internet before because of cable breaks in Georgia’s territory, but this is the biggest breakdown in a quite long period of time. -0--
