Sales of Shadowmatic puzzle game increase ten times

Sales of a computer puzzle game Shadowmatic, developed by Triada Studio Armenian IT company, surged ten times after a special discount was announced by App Store, the company’s technical director Bagrat Dabaghyan told ARKA.
YEREVAN, July 20. / ARKA /. Sales of a computer puzzle game Shadowmatic, developed by Triada Studio Armenian IT company, surged ten times after a special discount was announced by App Store, the company’s technical director Bagrat Dabaghyan told ARKA.
Because of exchange rate fluctuations APP Store decided to cut the minimum price for the content developers and users of the virtual app store from Armenia, Russia, Mexico, South Korea, India, Turkey, Indonesia, South Africa and some other countries.
Dabaghyan said Russian users can download Shadowmatic just for 15 rubles instead of the previous 169 rubles.
"Users from China and Russia have increased the downloading of the game. Although it did not translate into increased profits, the game has become more popular, which is good," said Dabaghyan.
He said the special discount offer in the App Store for users of Apple devices began July 15 and will end on July 31.
Shadowmatic was awarded the honorary prize of Apple Design Awards in the category "Design and Comfort / mobile application." The prize was awarded during the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in 2015 that took place June 8-12 in San Francisco.
Shadowmatic was launched on 15 January this year. It is available in 14 languages, including Armenian. The game has new additions - Arcade Mode and new levels for children. -0-
