Armenia and Iraq Discuss Developing Tourism Cooperation
YEREVAN, December 1. /ARКА/. On Monday, Lusine Gevorgyan, the Head of the Armenian Tourism Committee, met with Muhammad Al-Sheikhli, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Armenia, to explore ways to enhance collaboration in the tourism sector.
During their discussion, they reviewed the current landscape and ongoing projects within tourism, along with vital areas for partnership, as reported by the press service of the Armenian Tourism Committee.
Specifically, they talked about the steps and timeline for finalizing a memorandum of understanding focused on culture and tourism between Armenia and Iraq, showcasing the tourism potential of both nations, promoting marketing initiatives, and fostering connections between the tourism organizations of the two countries, which includes arranging online meetings between public and private sectors.-0-
