YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that the temporary suspension of mutual elimination of visa requirements for citizens of Armenia and China ends on May 31.
The agreement between Armenia and China on mutual visa-free travels by holders of ordinary passports entered into force on January 19 of this year, but from January 31 to March 31 its effect was temporarily suspended in view of the epidemic situation in China caused by the coronavirus. The ban was later extended until May 31.
At the same time, the ministry urged citizens to plan a trip to China only in extremely urgent cases. It said citizens of Armenia must report on their health condition before leaving, & conduct a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon their arrival in China. -0-
