YEREVAN, May 31. /ARKA/. The Armenian Embassy in Georgia unveiled the new rules for foreigners, including citizens of Armenia, wishing to enter Georgia.

"Foreigners arriving in Georgia when crossing the border must fill out an electronic version of the application, indicating their first and second names, passport series, phone number, e-mail, citizenship, country of residence, place of residence in Georgia, including the address of a private house, apartment or a hotel," the embassy said in a Facebook post last Saturday.

The application form is available here.

Earlier, Georgia decided to reopen from June 1 its land borders with its neighbors for travelers. Only foreigners with Covid-19 vaccination certificates (full course) or with a negative PCR test will be allowed into Georgia.

Georgia reopened the entry by air for citizens of a number of countries, in particular, Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine from March 1, 2021, if they had a certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19

It is also recommended that all visitors have health insurance, which also covers cases related to Covid-19. Restrictions on social gatherings of more than 10 people remain in force in the country in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This includes large-scale birthdays, weddings, funerals and other public and ritual events.-- 0--
