YEREVAN, November 9. /ARKA/. Armenia's popularity has grown significantly among Russians who vacationed abroad during the recent November holidays, said Alexander Bragin, Director of the Russian Association of Travel Aggregators (ATAG).

Demand for travel to Armenia and Georgia during this period increased by 37% compared to the same period in 2024, Bragin told the TASS news agency, citing data from the online hotel and apartment booking service "Ostrovok."

According to popular booking services, Armenia is among the top 10 international destinations for the November holidays, behind only Belarus, Turkey, China, Thailand, the UAE, and Uzbekistan, but ahead of Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Italy.

According to Armstat, more than 1.73 million tourists visited Armenia in January-September 2025 (0.8% more than in the same period last year). The largest number of tourists came from Russia (713,479 or 41.1% of the total), Georgia (210,247 or 12.1%), and Iran (138,010 or 8%).-0-
