‘The freight transportation sector in Armenia is not regulated by the state; today, anyone can open a private enterprise and engage in freight transportation, which causes many problems, including discrediting the state,’ says Norayr Gevorgyan, co-founder of Spinakker Group LLC.
According to him, Armenia has a very low logistics index in the world according to the World Bank. The reasons are various, ranging from the lack of logistics infrastructure to the closed borders.
