Cyclone is coming to Armenia with heavy snowfalls and temperatures dropping by 14-16 degrees Celsius

Armenia's Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center said penetration of cyclone from the southwest is bringing snow, blizzard to the country with wind gusts of 14-18 meters per second on Monday afternoon and Tuesday in Shirak, Lori, Tavush foothills, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, Syunik regions.

In a time span from December 31 to January 11 Armenian rescuers freed 3,147 people and 1,265 vehicles from snow captivity, the ministry of territorial administration and emergency situations said.
