Areximbank-Gazprombank Group said it has launched a new service for its customers offering credit lines for payment of natural gas bills.

YEREVAN, November 14, /ARKA/. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group said it has launched a new service for its customers offering credit lines for payment of natural gas bills.

The natural gas is delivered to Armenia by joint Armenian-Russian ArmRosGazprom (ARG) Company in which more than 80% is owned by Russian Gazprom. The new service is available to both individual and corporate customers, the bank said in a press release.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group (formerly Areximbank) was established in 1998 to handle financial flows between Armenia and Russia. It is a principled member of VISA International and MasterCard International payment systems. In 2007 it joined Armenian ArCa payment system. The bank is owned fully by Russian Gazprombank and has 6 branches in Yerevan and 9 in regions. -0-
