YEREVAN, April 3. /ARKA/. A new high-tech radiotherapy building has opened at the Fanarjyan National Oncology Center in Yerevan.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the new high-tech radiotherapeutic building of the National Center of Oncology named after V. A.Fanarjyan.

The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan and the Director of the National Center of Oncology Narek Manukyan, toured the newly opened radiotherapeutic building, got acquainted with the work carried out and the equipment of the center, press service of the Armenian government reports.

It was noted that in order to provide quality healthcare services, the radiotherapeutic building has been equipped with the state of the art Halcyon radiation treatment accelerator complex of the famous American company "Varian", and two more multifunctional ultra-modern medical accelerators are planned to be installed in the coming months. As a result, patients will receive complete, accurate medical care and treatment compliant with international standards.

Fanarjyan National Oncology Center is considered to be the leading multidisciplinary center in the field of oncology in the Republic of Armenia, where diagnostics and treatment are carried out in accordance with the best modern standards.
