YEREVAN, December 25. /ARKA/. An agreement signed between the Veterinary Organization of Iran and Armenia's State Food Safety Service after a year-long talks allows transit of animals from Armenia through the territory of Iran.
According to the State Food Safety Service, the agreement is extremely important for stimulating the country's economy. This means that entrepreneurs will not be forced to pay a lot of money for transporting animals to Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar and other countries by air.
"We can confidently say that the export of animals will increase sharply, which will contribute to the development of livestock. The transit transportation of animals will be carried out in accordance with all international standards and regulations," the report said. -0-
