YEREVAN, June 15. /ARKA/. On June 14 Ameriabank, known for its innovative solutions, showed its new office and the Kamar branch situated in downtown Yerevan. Located in the new business center "Kamar," Ameriabank applied new approaches for interior design, creating its own "city". Tigran Jrbashyan, Ameriabank Development Director, spoke with journalists about the concept of the new office and its functions.
According to Jrbashyan, when developing the concept of a new back office of the bank, an attempt was made to break bank stereotypes and create an atmosphere and conditions for employees to work freely and generate creative ideas.
The interior of the four floors of Ameriabank is developed as ‘Ameria City" - the atmosphere on each of the floors embodies the development of the city with excursions into the past and the future, various temporary and urban styles. The total area of 9.7 thousand square meters combines the elements of the Old Yerevan architecture, industrial downtown, an ecological city and an innovative modern technological image. Each of the floors is decorated in one of the four concepts.

The second floor is provided for premium service. It is decorated in a strict classical style. Conference halls on this floor are decorated as Armenian historical cities Cilicia, Kars, Karin, Mush, Van, Dvin and Ani. The design of each room uses historical reproductions, paintings, photographs and historical data about a particular city. Entrance doors to the halls are framed by ancient Armenian patterns, emphasizing their classic appearance.
The third floor is decorated with special solutions using the architectural style of Yerevan of the early 20th century. One of the recreation areas on this floor resembles the Republic Square, and instead of fountains, an original solution was found in the form of functioning real waterfalls. The second recreation area is a library. Besides, on this floor there are samples of traditional Armenian miniatures in the form of carved decorative wooden doors, replicating the original of one of the historic doors on the building of Abovyan street. Halls on this floor bear the names of great Armenian figures - Mesrop Mashtots, Komitas, Sayat-Nova, Martiros Saryan, embodying the main three elements of the Armenian identity - writing, music and visual arts.

The next floor represents the l development of industrial downtown cities. All the design is patterned from American cities of the 60-70s. There is an original secretary desk in the style of an antique car, the Times Square, the offices of the directors, the meeting room with modern technology.
After industrial development many cities began to give preference to environmental trend, placing emphasis on the development of green technologies. The next floor is made in this style - the "green city" with energy saving and harmony with nature. The interior presents design elements of developed green cities, in particular, the famous Singapore futuristic tree, symbolizing the importance of alternative energy. In the recreation area there are bicycles for employees, where one can both train and generate electricity to illuminate the wall, which presents the core values of the bank.
The sixth floor is a city of the future with technological solutions and development. The "Futuristic Armenia" meeting room is complemented by an interior in the form of an airplane and decorated with reproductions from famous Armenian architectural buildings. As Jrbashyan said, if earlier the bank had a head office, now this concept has been changed, and the biggest branch of the bank, Kamar, occupies two floors in the business center building.
The first floor has the largest customer service hall, equipped with modern equipment and new technologies, while the second floor is designed for premium customers. The building also houses banking cells with high level of security. There are separate elevators for clients, as well as servers that will ensure the introduction of new technological products. The branch offers 24/7 Express banking system, and the clients are offered integrated services, including on-line automatic loan servicing systems.

In the interior decoration of the service hall, the old building of the Tiflis commercial bank was used, which was located on this place more than 100 years ago, preserving in particular, the elements of black tuff which are combined with modern design solutions.
"We consider it symbolic that the branch of Ameriabank is located in a building where the bank was established more than 100 years ago. In fact, we continue the financial traditions of the building," Jrbashyan said. He also noted that even the old design of the bank's entrance door with its coat of arms has been preserved.

Along with the preservation of traditions, Ameriabank also introduced elements of modern design. In particular, one of the walls of the service hall is a 4K video wall to demonstrate services, promotions and other offers of the bank. -0-
