Argentina will open its Chamber of Commerce in Armenia in September, 2021, Argentinean Ambassador to Armenia Mariano Vernagara said last Friday during  a meeting with Armenia’s Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan.
Argentina to open Chamber of Commerce in Armenia

YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. Argentina will open its Chamber of Commerce in Armenia in September, 2021, Argentinean Ambassador to Armenia Mariano Vernagara said last Friday during a meeting with Armenia’s Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan.

He said the Chamber will give a new push to the development of trade and economic relations between the countries.

The Ambassador was quoted as saying by the ministry’s press service that there is a great interest in Armenian products in Argentina. The ambassador suggested also that Armenian companies consider the possibility of entering the Argentine market.

Kerobyan was said to welcome the ​​opening of the Argentinean Chamber of Commerce in Armenia saying he was ready to promote its effective functioning. Kerobyan said he will attend the opening ceremony suggesting that Armenian business community be also invited to attend it.

In the context of Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, Kerobyan noted that Armenia can offer favorable conditions to Argentinean companies to export their finished products to other EEU member countries.

Both men pointed out the great potential for deepening and strengthening trade and economic ties between Argentina and Armenia, enhancing ties between the business communities of the two countries and discussing opportunities for cooperation in various sectors of the economy, including tourism and agriculture.

The need to exchange experience between the two countries was stressed. The ambassador noted that Argentina pays great attention to the development of the agricultural sector, adding that there are ample opportunities for the exchange of experience and cooperation in this area. --0—
